Have you ever thought deeply about your daily engagements, interactions and communications with people and what you say or do when you greet, meet or speak with people? When I think deeply about that, what comes to mind is how we often start calls, conversations and meetings with people asking “how are you?”, but I don’t think we mean it. I think it’s a verbal filler — Something we’ve become accustomed to saying and responding to in the moment but we don’t really care or know how we actually are.
