Take a moment and think about how far you’ve come.
I was having a conversation where I thought about some things recently happening in my life, and I expressed gratitude for my journey. The conversation, made me think about and verbally express how the challenging parts of my journey and experiences have given me wisdom. Saying and thinking deeper about that was so powerful for me. Yes, there is wisdom in the present moment, because we’re not in the past and we’re not in the future we’re experiencing the present observing and noting what’s happening here and now.
But there is also wisdom we can gain from our past experiences. It’s not only a learning and growth opportunity but a frame of reference in how we move forward.
Even if and when things haven’t happened the way we wanted or expected, we don’t need to judge or be tough on ourselves. But we can trust and know that we’re being set up with an experience and opportunity to be better and share that wisdom with someone else. The learning we have from the past and how we can use it in and for the present is powerful.
There is wisdom in each moment.
