I hope you are easing into this week and the rest of 2023. As you are, I encourage you to allow yourself to feel good — Give yourself that permission. Trust the power and energy of your gifts, capabilities and the greatness that is within you. If you don’t who else will?
During the day, things happen or come across our phones, emails, social media and radar daily that can throw us off of generally feeling good, but more specifically feeling good about and trusting ourselves. This affects whether we not only think positively about what we’re doing and/or working on, but often affects whether we actually feel GOOD and then that affects our work, relationships, communication and everything else.
That’s okay, we’re human and life lifes, and things just happen like that sometimes.
Life will life and things happen. However, we can trust ourselves more and in trusting ourselves feel good about our journey, what we’re doing and who we’re constantly beoming. This is a possibility. There are things we can do and shifts we can make to help us trust ourselves and put our minds at ease to feel good about ourselves and what we’re working on or creating. Here are a few things to think about, be mindful of and practice this week and beyond to better trust ourselves and feel GOOD about our paths:
Acknowledge and recognize when you slip out of feeling Good is when things happen — What is the feeling that you are feeling? Is it sadness, anger, worry, anxiety, jealousy or something else?
Think about what brought you to not feeling good and made you not trust yourself — what triggered it? A past experience, an insecurity, a trauma, a person or something else?
Know that your feelings are just your feelings — they are not or don’t define you or your experience and most of the time it’s only temporary.
Let that Sh*t go — Holding on to the feeling or ruminating about it longer will put and dig you in a deeper hole that doesn’t make you trust yourself.
Nurture and hold yourself in love and compassion — we all make mistakes or take missteps. Challenge yourself to not slip away and think negatively when something doesn’t pan out as you hoped or wished.
Remember Who TF you are — You are 1 of 1. You are amazing. You are the embodiment of infinite possibilities. NO ONE else is created like you. Trust and know that and trust yourself.
We don’t know what 2023 holds or has in store, but there’s no need to worry or be anxious about it. We can have faith in and know that all things will work out for our good, trust ourselves, our gifts, and capabilities and be mindful of what it feels like to have that trust in ourselves. Make a commitment today and this week to not only see that in yourself but to enjoy life and the journey for what it is and to trust it and YOUrself. Everything doesn’t always happen as we want or wish, but everything always happens as it’s supposed to.
Do you trust yourself? Do you have faith, believe in and trust yourself to get the things done that you need, to be a reliable person, to overcome the challenges that come your way, and to share your gifts to the world? Do you?
