The last few weeks for me have been challenging creatively. Memorial Day weekend, I traveled for some R&R. I was fully present in the time down and my experience, but I was challenged upon my return home. Even though it was a long weekend, when I got home that Monday evening, I didn’t feel quite rested or restored as I hoped. So I decided to take the next day, Tuesday to rest, sleep in and really do nothing. So i did it and it felt GOOD. What I didn’t know was how that would affect me beyond. Taking that Tuesday off, and starting my work week on a Wednesday was DOPE, but it threw me off my flow creatively and productively. For the following few weeks, I experienced a creative block and a feeling of stuck-ness in my productivity. My days were very blah. I had acknowledged that there were things I didn’t want to do or felt like I had the capacity to do because of experiencing a creative block and being in this place of stuck-ness, but I didn’t know how to get out.
