Have you ever taken a moment to sit down somewhere and just people-watch?
It’s something I love to do.
Years ago, a few times a week during lunch in the spring and summer, I’d walk to Spring Street in Soho and sit on the bench outside of Balthazar eat my lunch and just look at and watch the people that passed by. Here and there I’d see a friend or someone I knew, but often it was something I loved to do, but it was also very intriguing to just see the variety and diversity of people that walked this street. In my people-watching, I’d be drawn to many things from person to person. Whether it was their shoes, their hair, something they were wearing or their outfit as a whole, how they walked, their scent or something else. It was great to see people just being people, going to wherever they were going in the manner they were going.
