How community and Gratitude play into an artist's evolution, feat. Michael Oloyede
In my weekly Vibe Check, Mid-week Reset offering I spoke with actor and producer, Michael Oloyede and had an Amazing conversation about community and Gratitude. The conversation was great, insightful and encouraging, but it also became a practice of letting go and being patient because in the middle of the conversation, Zoom crashed on my computer. But I am grateful to technology and having a phone with the app where I could continue our dialogue and offer a short practice.
So we continued and got half of the conversation recorded, where Michael shared that one of the biggest things he’s grateful for is the people in his life. I LOVED how he mentioned that he is a multi-millionaire regarding what his community looks like. In a world where the word community is thrown around so much in a way where it’s more seen as a metric or KPI, I resonated with that deeply because “we’re not meant to do this thing called Life alone” as Michael said.
