In the day in age that we’re in, I believe society is in a very impressionable place. A place where it’s both hard to find the truth or facts and a place where it is very easy to be influenced or swayed based on whatever the norms of society are at a time.
At times it unfortunately doesn't seem we can think and act for ourselves because of how we are socialized. Socialized as in the environments we’re in(IRL and online), the people we are constantly around and what we’re consuming physically and mentally —These things impact and affect our choices and behaviors.
We get told things are supposed to happen this or that way and ___ is the sequence of life and things unfolding. But I don’t believe that this is true. It poses the inquiry of Are we just going to and from thing to thing, place to place or task to task? Or are aware and present in what’s happening and going on in the world and in our lives?
Maybe this is a moment or opportunity to realize that we’ve just been metaphorically doomscrolling through life and we’ve gone down a rabbit hole of normal day-to-day activities where we’re not present in life happening now.

I am writing from a place of honest inquiry. Inquiry to not only see what the answer is but inquiry and a push to reflect. To INquire.
